My background is mainly in 2d concept art and illustration. Mostly. I also dabble in 3D sculpting, level design, prop/asset design, et al. However, I really love making ttrpg art and Comics. In both, I get to tell a story with the art. For me that's where it's at!
I've been making art for people for a long time. Everyone has that, 'I've been drawing since I was age 5!' story and for the most part, it's true and it's true for me as well. This has been something that I have been doing/focused on for nearly all my life.
As a kid I would draw all over my homework. Doodle in the margins of my assignments. I started taking art classes in high school where I picked up some great advice and inspiration from my teachers. I eventually went to college where I earned my BAC in Media Arts and Animation.
I worked for several companies in the gaming industry including Pinnacle Ent., Sigil Ent., Palladium Books, and various commissions. I've worked on some great projects with a lot of people over the years. And I am currently having fun creating for the ttrpg industry and it's awesome!
I love storytelling in my art. That's why I like comics and rpgs! I love to draw all sorts of things. But most especially I love to add a bit of story in my work. Or at least I try hard to. Working as a freelance concept artist in the table-top role playing gaming industry gives me that opportunity. And when I want to change things up I draw my stories sequentially through comics.
Comics gives me the most freedom when drawing. I love imagining new worlds and illustrating the characters within them. My vision is to combine the two somehow and create something new. Comics AND ttrpgs? I think so.
